What got you interested in this field?
My first experience in this industry was for a middle school algebra project. We were tasked with researching, selecting and tracking stocks. Though my middle school math class portfolio was completely (and thankfully) artificial, I was fascinated.
In college, I realized that my Business Accounting major was less interesting to me and the concept of working more directly with people and relationships was much more life-giving prospect as a career choice. Financial advising beautifully connects my understanding and interest in matters of finance with the regular opportunity to interact with people to form meaningful relationships.
